Band Classes

Period 1 

This class is open to all students, regardless of previous musical experience. During the first week, students will have the opportunity to explore and select an instrument that interests them. From there, they will begin their musical journey, developing new skills, building confidence, and discovering the joy of making music throughout the school year.

Period 2 

This class is open to students with at least one year of concert band experience who are ready to continue developing their musical skills. Students will build on their existing knowledge, strengthen their musicianship, and grow in confidence as part of the Viking Band program..

Period 3 

Students in this ensemble are selected by the band director based on their musical experience and proficiency on their instruments. As dedicated and developing musicians, these students take their skills to the next level through challenging musical opportunities and performances. Ensemble members also participate in the after-school marching band program, building teamwork, musicianship, and Viking pride both in and out of the classroom.
