The Marching Band practices Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. They compete at 3-4 band reviews in the Fall and Spring (usually on Saturdays), and participate in the Benicia Holiday Parade and other special events. At band reviews, the Marching Band and Colorguard perform together as a unit.
The Jazz Band practices on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 7:15 am. They perform at Concert Dinners and compete in select band reviews in the Fall and Spring.
The Drumline practices after school on Mondays (3:00 - 4:45 pm) and Fridays (1:00 - 3:00 pm). In the Fall and Spring, the Drumline travels with the Marching Band and competes at band reviews doing a street performance. In the winter, the group creates a themed, indoor performance which they take to drumline competitions.
The Colorguard practices Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Colorguard students perform with rifles, sabres, flags and letter shields, and lead the marching band at competitions in the Fall and Spring. In Winter, the Colorguard develops a choreographed show which they perform at regional competitions.
